Terai agriculture along East-West Highway and Narayani basin: paddy, wheat, maize, mustard, vegetables, fruits and fisheries. Irrigated by canals from Narayani and smaller rivers. Livestock: buffalo, goat, cattle, poultry. Strong commercial orientation near highways. For Ramgram, ward-level disaggregated crop statistics are not publicly available; inferred from district profile.

Carbon & forestry context

Forest cover in old Nawalparasi was high (~81.3% in Parasi/Nawalpur, but much is in eastern/hilly Nawalpur). Western (Parasi) Terai has lower cover with community forests and riverine strips.
