Agriculture

K.I. Singh reflects Doti’s farming pattern: Maize, millet, wheat and rice in subtropical to temperate zones; livestock (goats, cattle) is important. Commercialisation is limited by terrain and access.

K.I. Singh lies within Doti’s forest landscape: Mixed hill forests, community forests and the Khaptad National Park area provide carbon storage and biodiversity. Watershed degradation is a concern.
