In the realm of carbon finance, Singapore Treasure Carbon collaborates extensively with globally accredited financial institutions to develop carbon asset-backed securities (CABS), funds, and trusts. Since 2014, we have successfully launched two dozen financial products, providing liquidity to carbon reduction and sequestration activities.

CABS serve as financial instruments backed by carbon credits, allowing investors to gain exposure to the carbon market while funding environmental projects that mitigate climate change. Our carbon funds and trusts further diversify investment strategies by pooling resources for various carbon offset projects, effectively spreading risk and enhancing financial stability. Forest Conservation Project in the Solomon Islands

Since 2023, Treasure Carbon has been implementing a forest conservation project across multiple provinces in the Solomon Islands, covering more than 60,000 hectares of tropical rainforest. The project reduces emissions from deforestation and forest degradation by restricting commercial logging, road construction and related activities, while enhancing long-term carbon sequestration capacity. In addition to generating high-integrity carbon credits, the initiative supports biodiversity conservation and sustainable land management, contributing to climate resilience and sustainable development in Pacific island communities.

Other Improved Cookstoves Project

Treasure Carbon is advancing Improved Cookstoves Projects in regions, targeting one of the most widespread yet under-addressed sources of emissions—traditional open-fire cooking, still used by over 2 billion people worldwide. By supporting the large-scale deployment of high-efficiency cookstoves, we reduce greenhouse gas emissions, lower household exposure to harmful air pollutants, and deliver measurable climate and health benefits. These efforts contribute to more inclusive low-carbon development while enhancing the quality of life in vulnerable rural communities.

SGTC and CHCC Capital Launch a Carbon Neutrality Fund to Drive Global Emissions Reduction

Singapore Treasure Carbon and CHCC Capital (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. have jointly launched a fund that will invest in international carbon credit assets compliant with Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. The fund aims to establish a transparent, high-impact, and scalable carbon finance ecosystem, enabling enterprises to invest in high-quality carbon credits while generating measurable environmental and social benefits. Solar Lighting Projects in Ethiopia and Somalia

Treasure Carbon participates in solar lighting projects in Ethiopia and Somalia, providing clean energy alternatives to households with limited access to reliable electricity. Equipped with high-efficiency solar panels, durable batteries and LED lighting systems, the projects are expected to reduce more than 500,000 tCO₂e over their seven-year crediting period. By expanding access to clean energy while reducing reliance on fossil fuels and traditional lighting sources, the initiatives demonstrate a scalable model for low-carbon development cooperation across Global South countries.

Improved Clean Stove Project in Laos

Treasure Carbon, via C Dimension — a joint-venture subsidiary co-owned with China Ruifeng Renewable Energy — has signed a term sheet to advance a large-scale clean stove deployment in Laos. The initiative plans to deliver ~340,000 improved stoves to ~170,000 households across ten provinces, targeting ~2.7 million tCO₂e reductions over ten years and generating Verra-verified carbon credits for voluntary and CORSIA markets.

Clean Cookstove Programme in Nepal

In 2025, Treasure Carbon launched a clean cookstove programme in Nepal’s Lumbini Province. The initiative plans to distribute energy-efficient cookstoves to approximately 85,000 households, benefiting around 400,000 residents and reducing an estimated 130,000 tCO₂e annually. Beyond emissions reductions, the project helps lower fuelwood consumption, improve indoor air quality and reduce health risks for women and children. Through international carbon market mechanisms, the programme also supports the generation of high-quality carbon credits aligned with emerging Article 6 cooperation frameworks.
